The E-ACT Burnham Park Academy has gone through a period of great change and I am very proud to be part of dedicated hard working team who put children’s welfare and academic achievement at the heart of everything we do. The students and staff at the Academy have recently moved through some challenging times and we are now truly reaping the rewards of our efforts.
I joined the Academy in September 2016 and have committed to growing the seeds of potential that Burnham Park clearly possesses. The National Senior Adviser Matthew Flannigan and I have a background of successful school improvement and we are encouraged and enthused by the rapid improvements the Academy has already made.
The Academy hosts some of the most caring, hardworking and conscientious students in Burnham and their resilience and commitment to their futures is inspirational. We have built a staff team that is equally as impressive and together as a school community, we are securing great outcomes for the students as reflected in this summer’s GCSE results.
Relationships between staff and students are paramount to what we do and we are committed to providing the very best pastoral care in a compassionate and supportive environment. With student well-being at the heart of all we do, at BPA we are committed to providing an all-round unique and personalised educational experience.
At Burnham Park Academy we are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all employees and volunteers to share this commitment.
There are exciting times ahead of us and our doors are open with a warm welcome to all future students and parents.
